Offering a welcome means to receive with open arms, with simple everyday tasks. Even wi-thout opening the doors to your home, a citizen and the supporting family are important people for the integration of foreign children.
Put yourself forward for family support!
After completing a short training course, if you choose to activate the family support pro-gramme, you can offer cultural, play and recreational activities to young people housed in your town in a community for unaccompanied foreign minors or those just come of age.
Doing homework together, going to the cinema or strolling around the neighbourhood, di-scussing a topic of interest, organising an outing or simply talking about this and that and learning a new language.
These are just a few examples of what you can do as a citizen and supporting families, hel-ping to enrich the educational and integration project of the young people involved.
